Do you know the song, "How Deep The Father's Love For Us"? It is a fantastic reminder that God, who is the Creator and Sustainer of the entire universe, really does love us. And this love is not as a collective whole, but individually, in spite of our weaknesses and nearly constant sins.
He loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for us and save us from our sins. We were trapped. Without God's intervention, we were on the path that leads to destruction.
I sang this song to God this morning to worship and praise Him. I am not even super fond of my voice, but I figure He gave it to me, so He must like it.
How Deep the Father's Love For Us
How deep the Father's love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He would give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the chosen One
Bring many sons to glory
Behold the Man upon a cross
My guilt upon His shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished
I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no powr's, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom
And I personally love it that the last stanza is repeated to remind me that I am not worthy of His reward, which makes Him even more precious to me.
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom

I love to hear from my readers so if you are thinking something that is beneficial and profitable (which does not mean you have to agree with me, but at least be nice), then I would love to hear from you!
