So as you are getting ready for worship at church today, look around at the children. Maybe some have difficulties at home that you are not aware of. Maybe their parents fight all the time and are getting divorced. Maybe they have an alcoholic parent? Maybe their Grandma just died? Maybe a bully is bothering them at school (or at church)?
Remember the promise in Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
Ideally, this training and instruction should come from a God-fearing, loving parent. Sometimes this is not an option. You can be a mentor. You can be a godly influence on a young person's life.
Pray that the Lord will open your eyes to the children in your sphere of influence and give you a heart for them. They are a great mission field and we are serving the Lord when we are teaching these children to love Him.

I love to hear from my readers so if you are thinking something that is beneficial and profitable (which does not mean you have to agree with me, but at least be nice), then I would love to hear from you!
